David Pendleton resides in Kingsport. He graduated from Dobyns Bennett High School and received a B. S. from East Tennessee State University. He has been a licensed life and health insurance agent since 1982. He obtained his property and casualty license in both TN & VA in 1987. Before opening his own independent office in 1996, he was with Allstate Insurance Company for nine years. He has won many company awards and has earned his Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. He is past president of the Cosmo Kiwanis Club of Kingsport and past president of the Kingsport Association of Life Underwriters and Financial Advisors. David says he is most proud of being an Eagle Scout. David also owns Healthcare Resource Group (HRG), an employee benefits firm established in 1998.
